Donald A. Williams, age 58 of Bellevue, MI, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Janice Williams; his five children (Whom he adored) Hannah Marie, Martha Elizabeth, Alecia Janae, Daniel Allen and Janika Tristine Williams. Also surviving are his mother, Alice Anne Williams of Colorado; a brother, Robert of Beaverton, MI; two sisters, Judy (Jim) Nelson of Colorado and Sue (Jem) Tu of Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Allen in 2012.

Donald was born in Battle Creek, MI to Allen and Alice Anne Williams; he grew up and graduated from High School in Olivet, MI. Shortly after graduating he purchased a farm in Bellevue, which he continued to operate with his wife and children until his death; he was always pleased to say it was "truly a family farm."

Donald was a member of Ainger Bible Church in Olivet, MI where he served as a board member, a Sunday school teacher, and a children's ministry team member. His love of children and animals drew him to serve as a 4-H leader and Hog Superintendent for Eaton County for the last twenty years. A job he thoroughly enjoyed. He is best remembered for his sense of humor, hard work ethics, love of music, and his love of farm and children, and above all his love for His Lord. He made a friend wherever he went; no one was a stranger, but for a minute.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Pastor Scott Brood of Ainger Bible Church officiating.

Interment will be in the Kalamo Hillside Cemetery in Kalamo Township. Visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. on Friday at the Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made to the family for books for the D. A. Williams' Christian Resource Library or directly to the Family.
