Howard Bishop Jr., 87, of Owenton, died Sunday at his home.
He was a farmer and a member of Long Ridge Baptist Church, Owenton. A son, Jeff Bishop, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva Baker Bishop; a son, Howard Bishop Jr. of Owenton; brothers, C.W. Bishop and Bobby "Toots" Bishop, both of New Liberty, James Bishop of Covington and Emmett Bishop of Carrollton; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home, Main Street location, Owenton. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Owenton.
