Eldon E. Allen, 78, of Enchanted Gardens, Eureka, a retired federal meat inspector, died at 7:35 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 8, 1994) in his home.
He was born Dec. 31, 1915, in Hillview, the son of Jesse and Armenta Smith Allen. He married Dianna Dale Aug. 14, 1940, in Bowling Green, Mo. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Dianna Zimmerman, Eureka; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
One sister preceded him in death.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army.
He was a member of the Baptist Church and Eureka American Legion Post 466.
