Phil Widdersheim died Thursday morning at his home in Monticello of tuberculosis. Mr. Widdersheim was born and raised in Piatt county, and was well known there. Mr. Widdersheim was elected alderman about two years ago and was married last year.
The funeral will be held at the resdence Sunday at 2 o'clock.
