Mary Ellen Lewis-McDonald was born in Mobile, Alabama on January 23, 1973 to Mr. Willie and Jessie Lewis. She departed this life to be with the Lord on May 16, 2013.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and dedicated husband, Joseph McDonald; loving parents, Mr. Willie and Jessie Lewis of Mobile, AL; three loving children, Keneshia Lewis, Breaira Lewis and Justin McDonald; one loving and devoted sister, Cynthia Lewis-Washington; five loving brothers, Lamark (Felecia) Lewis, Timothy Lewis, Cedric Lewis, William Lewis and Johnny Lewis; two beautiful grandchildren, Kaniya Lewis and Taralynn Lewis; eleven loving nieces and nephews, Nicole (Kendrick) Lewis- Baldwin, Candace Lewis, BaTisia Lewis, Timothy Lewis Jr., Shadeah Lewis, Brittney Lewis, Lamark Lewis Jr., Cedric Lewis Jr., Damien Lewis, Earl Washington Jr., Dallas Lewis; four loving friends, Audrey Peters-Fleming, Kimberly Gaston, Virginia Molette and Eric Petite; a hosts of other family and friends, and the Piggly Wiggly family where she was employed.
Her remains will lie in state on Friday May 24, 2013, from 1pm until 8pm at Small's Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Nazaree Full Gospel Church, 1695 W I65 Service Rd N, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery North, Eight Mile, AL.
