Daughter of Anthony Browne and Mary Dormer, granddaughter of Sir Anthony Browne and Jane Radcliffe, Sir William Dormer of Eythorpe and Dorothy Catesby.

Wife of Edmund Lee (Lea) of Stanton Bury, son of Edmund Lee of Pightlesthorne and his wife, Amice.

Secondly, wife of Mr Wolverton.

Thirdly, wife of William Ascue, Gentleman of the Privy Chambers of King Charles I. They had at least one daughter, Dorothy, who married Sir John Temple.

Dorothy was a legatee in her mother's will of 1637, and left her own will dated 14 Jan 1653, proved 11 May 1653, requesting burial near her late husband, William Ascue.
