She loved nature, state parks, county and state fairs, bird watching and art. She was a Purdue sports fan and a West Lafayette sports fan, where her daughter Alex excelled in track, is an honor roll student and made her mother proud.
Regan is survived by her daughter, Alexandra Orianna Deryn, her parents, Max and Aileen Steele of Medaryville, IN, her brother, Bryan Steele of Francesville, IN and her maternal grandmother, Vivian Siemens Brooks, of Medaryville, IN.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 24, 2013, 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. EST at St. James Lutheran Church, located at the junction of State Road 43 and US 24, Reynolds, Indiana.
Internment will be at Independence Cemetery located in Gillam Township, Jasper County, IN during a private service scheduled by the family.
