💖Blackie was my parents in laws pet. He was 1 of 3 stray kittens born under my parents in laws shed. He was a black short haired cat. All 3 grew up and stayed there to live. He was a sweet, gentle cat who loved everyone. He loved watching the fish in the pond and chasing butterflies. Funny, he didn't drink water much in the house but loved drinking from the fish pond in the backyard. He loved sitting in my mom in laws lap being petted and getting his head scratched while purring up a storm. He would come in the house at night and in the winter loved to sleep by the fireplace. He would follow my mom in law around all over the house after my father in law died. In the wee hours of the morning he would meow and want let out and if you didnt let him out, he would jump in the windows knocking over things and smack the blinds at at the sliding glass back doors. Driving everyone crazy til they gave in. Past couple yrs he went down hill getting old. He lost weight and had thyroid problems. He also had seizures for the past year now and then which he took medicine for. My mom in law found him. He had had a seizure and fell in the pond he loved and died.
He is very loved and missed dearly.
