WABASH - Mary A. McCord, 75, Rt 1 Wabash; died Sunday at the Wabash County Hospital following an accident January 11 in Ft Wayne.
She was a homemaker and member of the House of Prayer in Anderson.
Survivors include eight sons: Howard (Narce) Wagner Jr and Charlie (Brenda) McCord both of of Peru; Fred McCord of Martinsville; Les (Peggy) McCord and Virgil (Della) McCord both of Anderson; Frank (Cathlene) McCord of Rossville, MI; Jerry (Peggy) McCord and Ernie (Phyllis) McCord both of Wabash; four daughters Mrs. Anna Lycan of Anderson, Mrs. William (Carolyn) Hall of Kalamazoo, MI., Mrs. Joseph (Hazel) Carpenter of North Manchester and Mrs. Michael (Peggy) Learned of Wabash: two brothers, Ervin Shrock, and James Shrock both of Elwood: three sisters: Cecil Rittenhouse and Martha Ryan both of Elwood and Maggie Majors of Arkansas; 52 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren
Her husband Virgil McCord, died Jan 12, 1981.
Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at the Bethel Baptist Church of Elwood with Rev Loyce Webb and Hilbert Jones officiating.
Burial will be at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Elwood, IN.
Friends may call from 2-9 pm today at the Eddingfield-Delaughter Mortuary, 231 Falls Ave., Wabash and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
