Born June 2, 1913, in St. Charles, VA, she was the daughter of Harvey Byrd and Martha Mildred (Rose) Burgan. On December 25, 1931, she married Otis Lee Johnston, who survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Apostolic Tabernacle Church, Frankfort.
Services are 3:00 p.m., Thursday, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main Street, Russiaville. The Reverend Robert Hackler will officiate. Burial will be in Middlefork Cemetery.
