Hamblin was listed as a 42 years old Virginia born farmer with $12,760 worth of real estate and $60,000 worth of personal property, living with his 28 years old Tennessee born wife Katharine and their two children, 3 years old James and 1 year old Sarah Hamblin. Both children were born in Texas.
