daughter of John Blewett and Elizabeth "Martha" Collins

Married Jacob Davies on 08 November 1828 in Crowan Parish, Cornwall, England.

In 1848, Jane and her five children departed Liverpool on the Creole. They traveled steerage, arriving in New York City on 15 September 1848. The family settled in Reading, Pennsylvania, before coming to Jo Daviess county, Illinois.

Jane died two days before her son, Jacob Davis.

Most children changed the spelling of their last name Davies to Davis.

Jane's daughter Mary Davies married John Jeffery.
