NASHVILLE - Eva M. Ayers, 80, Route 5, died at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday at Bloomington Convalescent Center following a two-year illness. She was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church here.

Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Mark Svarczkopf at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Agnes church. Persons may call at Bond Funeral Home here after 6 o'clock tonight and anytime Friday. Rosary service will be conducted at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Ayers was born at Odan, April 4, 1900, the daughter of Charles and Edith Howard Mount. She was married in June 1922, at Indianapolis, to William Bryan Ayers who died July 19, 1965.

Survivors include two sons, James Ayers of Shiloh, Ga., and Herman Ayers of Martinsville; five daughters, Dolly Harden of Nashville Route 5, Mona Jean Gearries of North Vernon, Carmen Ann Powell of Ellettsville, Frances Wilson of Bloomington, and Marie Bushey of Indianapolis; one sister, Martha Engmark of Florida; 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
