GENEVA E. WILSON

Geneva Emeline Wilson, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, died on May 14, 2013 in Jackson, Georgia. Geneva was born on February 10, 1926, to William and Celesta McDonald.

She married Dwight James Wilson on January 17, 1946. They were married for 59 years.

They lived in Chariton until 1984 when they moved to Mt. Home, Arkansas. In 2003 they moved to Locust Grove, Georgia.

She is survived by two daughters, Atha Parker and husband, Dave, of Lafayette, Indiana and Avis Johnson and husband, T. Manuel, of Wrightsville, Georgia; one son, Warren Wilson, of Locust Grove, Georgia; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gerald, Harry, Everett and Asa; sister, Atha Poush; devoted husband, Dwight Wilson; son, Mac Wilson; and daughter-in-law, Shirley Wilson.

Geneva was a long-time member of the Chariton Church of the Nazarene, Mt. Home Church of the Nazarene and Jackson Church of the Nazarene.

Services will be held at Fielding Funeral Home, Chariton, Iowa, May 20, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Chariton Cemetery.
