Rose Anna Knight came to Arkansas with her family from Missouri in a covered wagon. (The wagon was still in the family in Cleburne County until recently sold by an in-law.) Not much is known about her childhood. She married Alonzo "Lonnie" Clark and gave birth to five children: Alonzo "Junior" Clark, Thomas F. Clark, Rose Howard, Jerri Robison and Betty Hickman Lovelady. She lived on the farm in Possum Grape with her husband and the children and grandchildren for many years. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed taking her grandchildren fishing on Steamburger Lake, which was located on the family farm. She attended church at Bradford Church of Christ. She lived her remaining years in Bradford next to her son, Thomas and his family. She lived to know many of her great grandchildren whom she loved very much. She was known to them as "Old Granny". She is rested in the Clark family plot at Coffeyville Cemetary in Possum Grape.
