Stan was a retired NYC Police Officer, retiring after 32 years of service. He started off in the 32 and ended his career in the 44 (Yankee Stadium). He was married to Marion for 52 years, had 3 children, 6 grandchildren and one great grandson, Elijah and a great grandaughter, Bella. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II and was stationed in France for a time, where he loved the language and self-taught the language fluently. He was the French interpreter for the actual "French Connection" trial in NYC. He loved the game of golf and played it well. He was a kind man who was never afraid to shed a tear, but always remembered to laugh. He was a kind soul and a member of St. Raphael Church in East Meadow. A life-long NY Yankee fan. He is missed by all of us who loved him. He's doing the polka in Heaven with my mom.
