May A. Pearsol, 89, of Weatherly, formerly of Kunkletown, died Jan. 2 in Weatherwood Nursing Home, Weatherly. Born in Kunkletown, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Sr. and Minnie (Mohr) Pearsol. She had worked as a telephone operator for the Kunkletown Phone Co. for many years and later worked as a clerk for the Kunkletown Post Office. She was a member of St. Matthews United Church of Christ, Kunkletown. Survivors: Nephews, Ernest Pearsol of Kunkletown, James Andrews of Palmerton, Daniel Andrews of Bethlehem; nieces, Gloria and Betty Pearsol, both of Allentown. She was predeceased by her stepmother, Sarah (Hawk) Pearsol.
