G. A. Gandre Rites in Houston Monday

Last rites will be held in Houston Monday morning at 10 o'clock for G. A. Gandre, 72, who died at the Houston Heights hospital at 8 p.m. Friday. In charge of the services there will be the Rev. Sloan, Baptist minister.
The body will be brought to the Monthalia Methodist church for services there between 4 and 5 p.m. Monday with interment to take place in the Monthalia cemetery. The Masonic lodge will have charge of the graveside rites.
The deceased was born in Germany to August and Louise Bahlmann Gandre, natives of Germany. He came with his parents to the United States when only a few years old. He attended Blinn Memorial College in Brenham and also Draughans Business college in Fort Worth, accepting a position for the Humble Oil company where he worked for over 30 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife, the former z Louise Robinson; one daughter, two grandchildren and one great grandchild, all of Houston; one brother, Gus Gandre of Cost; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Schauer and Mrs. Walter Raeke, both of Cost.
