"Evelyn G. Adams, formerly of Cornwall, a retired sales clerk for Sears Roebuck Co. and a longtime area resident, died Monday, May 5, 2005 at Wingate at Dutchess Nursing Home, Fishkill. She was 100.
The daughter of the late Edmund and Jennie Mae Pike Garland, she was born March 10, 1904 in Yonkers and was the widow of the late Elmer Adams.
She was predeceased by a brother, Vernon Garland.
Survivors include a nephew, nieces and a cousin.
There are no calling hours.
Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor.
Donations may be made to the Cornwall Ambulance Corp.
