ALFRED JENSEN, 59, DIED LAST NIGHT

Alfred Jensen, 59-year-old Blair man, died at Memorial Community Hospital Wednesday night following a month's hospitalization. He had been in failing health for some time.

Mr. Jensen was born November 3, 1900 at Blair and had spent all of his life living in this community. For many years he has resided at 1866 Front Street.

He was united in marriage to Ella Van Deusen Buchanan, March 1, 1931.

He is survived by his wife and by a daughter Nancy (Mrs. Norman Curley of Blair) and by two sons, Richard of Bennington and Robert of Blair. There are three grandchildren.

Also surviving are two step-daughters, (Odelle) Mrs. Gail Markwick of Mobile, Alabama and (Virginia) Mrs. Richard Farrens of Decatur, Nebraska. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Thomas of Omaha and Mrs. Esther Cushman of Bayard, Nebraska.

A brother, Harry Jensen lives at Creighton, Nebraska and another brother, Henry in Omaha. There are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 31st at the First Christian Church in Blair with the Rev. Mr. Dunning of Sutton, Nebraska in charge. Burial, under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home will be made in the Blair Cemetery.
