Susan Brooks Aycock has a CSA pension application on line in the virtual vault. She proves marriage to Richard M. Aycock in Floyd County on Sept 8, 1869. She says he enlisted in 1861 in Floyd County in Company D of the 29th GA Inf. The witness states that her husband was not with his unit at surrender, because he had been discharged due to a "lame leg". Witness gives R. M. Aycock date of death 1901, Floyd county.
