Born Dec. 9, 1932, in Cherokee, Ala., and raised in Rome, Ga., Mr. Chisolm served in the Army during the Korean War.
A resident of Severna Park for 27 years, he owned and operated Chisolm Contractors.
He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, cooking, traveling and spending time with his nine grandchildren.
His son, William Michael Chisolm, died in August 2004.
In addition to his grandchildren, he is survived by his wife, Marlene Rose Chisolm; two sons, Michael G. Chisolm of Severna Park and Gwyn Dale Chisolm of Edgewater; two brothers, Marvin Chisolm of Lindale, Ga., and Zacharia Chisolm of Pennsylvania; and two sisters, Nell Crites and Fran Boatner of Silver Creek, Ga.
