Interment will follow in Gwin Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.
Kathryn Fife was born on January 21, 1944 in Winnsboro, LA, and entered heaven on May 5, 2013 at Saint Francis Medical Center after a 14 month battle with cancer.
Kathryn retired from Riverfield Academy having served the school over 25 years as secretary. She was a faithful wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and church going Christian. She married Tim Fife on July 2, 1966 and has two sons, Timothy and Jon Hunter.
Mrs. Fife was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Etier, grandson Caleb Fife, granddaughter Jennifer Wickboldt and brother-in-law Gerry Marchbank.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Fife of Mangham, sons, Timothy and his wife Jackie of Baton Rouge, Jonathan Hunter and wife Le of Rayville and the light of her life, granddaughter Ella Paisley Fife. Her mother, Lorraine Etier of Mangham, sister Camille Marchbank of Mangham, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be members of Mangham Methodist Church Sunday School Class, Joe Chapman, Keith Pruitt, Mike Barker, Billy Joe White, Tommy Pailette, and Bubba Bell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverfield Academy, Mangham Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
