Per her obituary, Rosetta was the wife of F. M. Ackerman, one of the pioneer residents of Bowman (formerly known as Ackerman's Crossing). Rosetta came to Bowman circa 1882 and became an active member of the Belmont Relief Corps. She died of dropsy and was survived by her husband and her daughter, Mrs. E. J. Myers.
