Funeral services for Mrs. Bette Jane Beck, 71 of Mexia will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008 in First Baptist Church in Mexia. Rev. Marcus Sheffield , pastor of First Baptist Church will officiate with interment to follow in Mexia Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 Friday night at the funeral home.
Mrs. Beck was born April 9, 1936 in Mexia to Emmett and Bertha Pauline (Rudasill) Massey and passed away on February 27, 2008 at her residence. She was office Manager for a dental office and a member of the First Baptist Church in Mexia
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earl Allen Beck in 2003, and two sisters, June Massey Long and Ida Bess Massey Hodges.
Mrs. Beck is survived by her daughter, Cindy Weis, of Mexia; nieces that Jane raised As daughters, Debby Foster, Springtonw, TX and Donna Morris, Lake Kiowa, TX, Nephew that Jane raised as son, Danny Beck, grandchildren: Camry Jane Weis and Cassie Leigh Weis, great granddaughter, Kaylor Marie Weis, Sister, Emilee Massey Terry of Fairfield, brother in law, Frankie Beck of Groesbeck and wife, Jaylou, sister in law, Helen Rikard of Groesbeck, nieces and nephews, Diane Long Hallmark, James Long, Pam Long Dillon , Michael Terry, Paula Terry Ratliff, Doyle Terry, Blake Adams, Terry Dean Adams, Tina Beck, Jay Frank Beck, Sandra Beck, Mindy Keylon, Shane Vaden, Sabrina Sanders, Brittany Martin, Brody Morris, 26 great nieces and nephews and numerous great great nieces and nephews.
