Death of Tilman Shumate.
The many friends of this gentleman in this section of Virginia will be pained to hear of his death at his home in Winchester, last Friday afternoon about 2 o'clock. He had been in failing health for some years, but his friends scarcely thought that his end was so near. When death came it came suddenly, and he died in his chair. Up to a few days of his death he was at his post in the Shenandoah Valley Bank of which he was Cashier--Win. News.
