George Harvey Wright, son of James Wright Jr. and Ellender {Nellie} Hutson was born near the Post Office at Frank's Ferry, TN. {She was also known as Eleanor} photos are sons and family.

He married America Jeannette Troglin, they had 6 children and a seventh child, an infant who died in Pound Va. Soon after that, Jeannette died from milk fever. She is believed to be buried in Pound Va.

George moved to Ky, about 1890 and married Sarah Alice Farthing in 1894, and had 2 children: Kellie Blair Wright and Addie Wright, who is thought to have died at a young age.

George died at Noctor, Ky, up Quicksand River about 3 miles from the county seat of Jackson in Breathitt, County Ky.
He was conscripted into the Confederate Army when he was very young, but no Military records have been found

He is buried in the Carpenter Family Cemetery of the family his daughter Correnia married into, in Noctor Ky.
