Robert J. Mueller, 68, 1531 Crawford
Ave., died Saturday, Nov 21
1998, at Altoona Hospital, following a
brief illness.
He was born June 27, 1930 in Altoona,
the son of the late John and
Frances (Huber) Mueller. He married
Ruth C. Roberts Aug. 1, 1957
in Altoona.
Mr. Mueller was a member of St
Mary's Catholic Church.
He retired as a lithographer in
the printing department of Butterick Co.
in 1990.
Mr. Mueller was a 1948 graduate
of Altoona Catholic High School
He was an Air Force veteran of the
Korean conflict and served at Enwatok
during the H-bomb testing.
Mr. Mueller enjoyed woodworking,
gardening and sports.
He was a life member of the
Frohsinn Singing Society.
Surviving are his wife; two sisters:
Mildred Mueller Wolf in Wisconsin
and Betty Mueller Tittler
of Altoona; and three brothers-
John of Altoona, Frank of Charlotte,
N.C.. and Walter of Williamsburg.

Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil
for the deceased service will be
held Monday. Mr. Mueller was
preceded in death by brothers and
sisters: Joseph Mueller, Bertha
Thalhauser, Frances Birkender
Ruddy Mueller, Herman Mueller'
Hilda Gill, Ernie Mueller and
Therese Brunhuber. Mr. Mueller
is also survived by several nieces
and nephews.
