MIAMI, Nov. 23 -- Funeral services for Columbus Baxter Allen, 64 years old, who died at the Gila County Hospital Thursday after a long illness, will be held at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow at the Miles Chapel with the Rev. M. Garcia Officiating.
He was born August 2, 1879, at Brazos, Tex., and had lived in this district for many years. he was a miner.
Survivors are his wife, Christina Allen; one son, Charles of Los Angeles; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Pasqualitia of Phoenix and one brother, James Allen of Brazos. Interment will be in Pinal Cemetery. (Arizona Republic - Wed., Nov. 24, 1943, Pg. 5, Sec.2)
The son of Columbus Allen (1844-1891) and Rachel Duke, Charles(sic) Allen moved to Arizona in about 1915. He was a miner who died from tuberculosis.
