Fred Allen Ault Cole
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Akron Church of God for Fred Allen Ault COLE, 8, North Manchester, who was killed in a two-car crash at 9:28 a.m. Saturday in Wabash county.
The Rev. Forest CARLSON will officiate at the rites and burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the Sheetz funeral home until noon Tuesday and at the church for one hour before services.
The son of Adrian and Willodean AULT COLE, the boy died when a car driven by his mother, 31 years old, collided with another auto on Ind. 114 just east of Ind. 15. Mrs. Cole is in "critical" condition at the Wabash county hospital in Wabash.
The occupants of the other car - Harold CLABAUGH, 27, Huntington; his wife, Lynn [CLABAUGH], 24, and their daughter, Christine [CLABAUGH], 1, also were hurt, but not seriously.
A third grader at Chester township school in North Manchester, the boy was born in Woodlawn hospital Sept. 22, 1955. He was a member of the Akron Church of God.
Surviving with the parents are two brothers, Stephen and Johnny [COLE], and a sister, Glenda Sue [COLE], all at home; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen AULT, R.R. 2, Akron; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis COLE, R.R. 2, North Manchester, and aunts and uncles.
