∼Sadie, 80, of Mecosta passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at her home. Sadie was the daughter of Howard and Sylvia (Peabody) Griffith.
She married Donald Davis on June 18, 1950 in Mt. Pleasant. Sadie and Donald traveled out west to Colorado and Wyoming to hunt yearly. Sadie enjoyed spending her time crocheting, fishing, and baking wedding cakes.
Sadie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald; children, Donald (Cathy) Davis Jr., Dianna (William) Kappler, and William (Kathy) Davis; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Steve Griffith; and sisters-in-law, Cora (Lloyd) Ropp and Ruthann Krotzer.
