Kenneth E. Bannon, 59, of rural Wilmington, died Tuesday in the Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fruland Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Sample Cemetery.
Friends can call from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Born Aug. 26, 1924, in Ottawa, he was the son of Earl and Elsie (Huntington) Bannon. On Sept. 28, 1942 he married Dorothy Wren in Kahoka, Mo. Most of their married life was spent in Grundy County.
During World War II he was a member of the U.S. Army Air Corps.
