Eva is also a sister of Willa Mae (Higgins) Wagaman, the wife of Ed's brother, James Franklin Wagaman.
Ed farmed for a living all of his life, except for the last few years, when he was a guard at the Missouri State Penitentiary at Jefferson City, Missouri, then a grain inspector at Kansas City.
Ed was active in politics and church work.
