ROGERSVILLE - Alvin Dewayne Arnette, 54, passed away Wednesday (May 24, 2006) at his residence.
He was formerly of Keokee, Va.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Alvin C. and Josephine Arnette.
Survivors include one son Richmond, Va.; one daughter, Richmond, Va.; three brothers, Aylett, Va., Johnson City, and Rogersville; one sister, Rogersville; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Roy A. Green Funeral Home, Appalachia, Va., from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Services will be held at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert Smith officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Powell Valley Cemetery, Dryden, Va.
Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
