His parents, Rev.David James and Elizabeth "Jane" Mabry Burt.
Husband of M. Fannie Thomas Burt.
Married in May 2,1897.
Served in WWI,1917,Jasper,Pickens City,GA.
He was a Farmer in 1900,then Post Office Clerk, then retail salesman.
He had 12 children in all (4 died young).Willie Price(1903-1910, 7 yrs.)- Luke (1910-1912, 2 yrs.), G.P.Burt (1914-1916, 2 yrs.)and Robert Ormand Burt (1919-1920,1 yr.)
Four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Fosset of Canton, GA.(B-1899-1990). Jeanetta Burt (B-1911 D-?). Mrs. Martha Aline Dobbs of Marietta, GA. (B-1909 D-1989) and Miss Frances Burt (B-1917 D-?)of Virginia. Four sons, Mr. John D. Burt (B-1900 D-1978) of San Pablo,CA. Mr. Warren Antherton Burt (1921- 1999) of Austin, TX.
