OLSON, Dan L (age 76) entered into rest on July 25, 2005 in Spokane, WA.

Dan was born on April 6, 1929 in Spokane, WA to Hans and Lucille Olson. He graduated from Central Valley High School in 1947. Dan married Dona Yarnell on August 6, 1948 in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. He served in the United States Air Force as a pilot flying some of the first Jet Fighters. Dan was head of the Science department at North Central High School, retiring in 1986.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dona; sons, L Chris Olson, Leif E Olson; sister Rosada L Houk; one grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

A military graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at 10:00 am at Fairmount Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the World Wildlife Fund, 1250 24th St NW, Washington, DC 20037-1193. (The Spokesman-Review, Spokane, WA, July 26, 2005)
