Elna "Joyce" Davis died April 25, 2005 at Yavapai Regional Medical in Prescott. She was born October 19, 1926 in New York, the daughter of Paul and Marian (Ward) Johnson. Joyce was 78 years old. Joyce married John Davis in December of 1946. Together they owned and operated the Paul Johnson Garage for 48 years, located at 35th Ave. and McDowell. She enjoyed camping and traveling with their trailer, she was an active member of the Nazrene church in Phoenix. She was proudest of her family. She loved and doted for her grand and great grand kids. Joyce is survived by her husband John, of 58 years of Chino Valley, son Bob (Sharon) of Prescott, daughter Carol (Randal) Kuskie of Milan, NM.; granddaughters; Deana (John), Elaine (Todd) and Christel (Van) and great granchildren; Kayla, Shane, Christopher, Taylene, Austin, Dalton and Wyatt and her sister Aileen Axley of Dolan Springs, Arizona. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W. Van Buren in Phoenix. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisting the family.
