Professional Wrestler. IN a career that spanned over five decades, he held the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title in 1976 and held that title for two years before winning the title a second time in 1979. He wrestled in the NWA, Mid-South, and WCW. Has trained several top wrestling superstars such as Johnny Ace, Ken Shamrock, and The Stro. Nelson Royal also owned, "Nelson Royal Western Store", in his hometown of Mooresville, North Carolina. He died of a massive heart attack on his way back home from his Church after Sunday Service.
