Janie Marie Barksdale, 86, died June 12, 2003, at the Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Ala.
Services were Saturday at 2 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Fletcher officiating. Burial was at
West Point Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Barksdale was born Jan. 29, 1917, to the late Tilford Butler and Nettie Robinson in Milan, Tenn. She was a member of the First United Methodist church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Barksdale and her daughter, Sandra Grauer.
Survivors include two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bob Butler, Jerry Klutts, Justin Thomas, Boyd Butler, Bradley Thomas and Blake Thomas.
Memorials can be made to the Sally Kate Winters Memorial Children's Home in West Point.
