Mrs. John Carter Dies at Hastings
ST. AUGUSTINE, June 29 - - Mrs. John Carter, 74, died at noon today at her home in Hastings, following a long illness. Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the residence at 3 o'clock with interment at the Pellicer Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Carter is survived by her husband and six children; Mrs. Frank Corbett, Moultrie; Charles Carter, Hialeah; Manuel Carter, Hastings; Mrs. H. H. Bailey, Hastings; Mrs. W. R. Bird, Hastings; [Mrs.] E. J. Langford, Jacksonville; two brothers, Lopez Masters, San Mateo and Paul Masters, Hastings; three sisters, Mrs. Joe Minton, Hastings, Mrs. George Heart, Hastings and Mrs. Leslie Scott, Oregon; thirty-one grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
