Funeral services for Dennis Cross, 58, a native of Kilmichael, were held Thursday, December 13 at Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus. Interment was in Memorial Gardens of that city.
Mr. Cross passed away Tuesday night, December 11. He was retired from the Mississippi Highway Patrol and had been a resident of Columbus for the past 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Zula Braswell Cross of Columbus; two sons, Ray Cross of Columbus and Lt. William Paul Cross of Dyess Air Force Base, Texas; one brother, William T. Cross of Lompock, California; three sisters, Mrs. Paul Sanders, Mrs. Bennie Carmeene of Tupelo and Mrs. W. D. Milstead of Memphis, Tennessee. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Sabra Cross of Tupelo.
Memorial Funeral Home in Columbus was in charge of arrangements.
