W. M. Hootkins Final Rites Set

Funeral services for William M. Hootkins, 89, of 4242 Lomo Alto, a retired Southwestern sales manager of the Freeman Shoe Corp., will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Temple Emanu-El. Entombment will be in Hillcrest Mausoleum.

Mr. Hootkins, who died here Tuesday, had been a Dallas resident for 40 years. He retired brom his sales position in 1950.

He was a charter member of the Southwestern Shoe Travelers Association, Inc., and was its president in 1936. He was a member of the Dallas Athletic Club, the Columbian Club and Temple Emanu-El.

Mr. Hootkins was a native of Grand Rapids, Mich.

Survivors: A son, Seymour Hootkins of Dallas, and three grandchildren.
