Manny was a former chief of police in Cambridge City, Indiana retiring May 3, 1985 after having been a member of the police department for 31 years. He was a graduate of Milton High School.
Manny served during WW II, T. Sgt., U. S. Army; and the Korean War. During WW II he served in the infantry during the Normandy Invasion of WW II, received four battle stars and the Purple Heart. He served during the Korean Conflict and received a Bronze Star.
