Richard was a native of Franklin County and had lived in the Cambridge City area for more than 50 years. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and was a retired machinist from Perfect Circle in New Castle, Indiana.
Richard was preceded in death by this wife, Deva, who died April 12, 1984.
Services were held at St. Elizabeth Church with Father John H. Luerman officiating. He was buried in Riverside Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Marshall Funeral Home in Dublin.
Mr. Amrhein mowed his own lawn and never used a gas run lawn mower. I remember him mowing with an old push mower. I believed he used that same mower till he could no longer use it himself.
