Lucille was the daughter of Louis and Myrtle Smith Knauf. Lucille was married to Earl Gentry, who passed away in 1999.

Lucille was a member of the Cambridge City Christian Church. She worked at the Danner's Store in Cambridge City and retired after many years as an Avon Representative. She volunteered for the Meals on Wheels program and also was a hospital volunteer.

Lucille is survived by two sons, several grandchildren, great grandchilden and one great great grandson.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Earl; a son, Gary; and two brothers, Herman and Robert Knauf.

Waskom Capital Hill Chapel in Cambridge City was in charge of the arrangements and she is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Cambridge City, Indiana. Pastor Tracy Wright officiated.
