The sudden death of Mr. Foster, age 83, lived at 255 Thomas St., Deseronto, and had resided here since 1958 with his nephew, Leo McCullough. The son of the late Thomas Foster and Anne Cavanaugh, James Leo was born in Centreville, Ont. & lived in Buffalo for a number of years. He was the last surviving member of his family. He was a member of the Holy Name Society. Funeral services were held on Sept. 30th from the White & Morris Funeral Home to St. Vincent De Paul Church, Deseronto, conducted by the Rev. C. Snoeren. Pall bearers were Dominic McNamara, Morley O'Connor, Edmund Dowling, Vincent Sexsmith, Harold & Carl Perry. Interment was at the Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Marysville where prayers were said by the Rev. William Dupre.
