MRS. A. B. HEATH FUNERAL HELD HERE TUESDAY:
COMMUNITY MOURNS PASSING OF LONG-TIME RESIDENT:
Funeral services were held at the larson Funeral Home in Newell, Iowa at 2:00 pm. August 21 for Mrs A.B. Heath, a long time resident of Buena Vista County. Rev. V.C. Grant conducted the services.
OBITUARY:
Cora Lucille Maynard was born in Henry County, Iowa on June 12, 1873. At an an early age her parents and three sisters moved to Buena Vista County.
In June 1897 she was married to Otto F. Hittenmark of Pomeroy, Iowa. Mr. Hittenmark passed away in 1936.
On March 29, 1938, she was united in marriage to A.B. Heath of Storm Lake, Iowa.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, Marion D. Hittenmark of Detroit, Mich., and Gordon A Hittenmark of Wichita, Kans., and one grandson, David. She also leaves two sisters. Mrs. Harriet E. Spencer of Hayden Lake, Idaho, and Mrs. Alice McKay of Haymes, N.D.
She was a member of the Methodist church of Newell. In her earlier years she was active in church and club work having spent most of her life in the surrounding community she leaves a host of friends.
The pallbearers were Rudolph Henrich, Lyle Smith, Keith Smith and Albert Buch of Newell, Jess Parker and Charles Sigler of Pomeroy. The flowers were taken care of by Mrs. Rudolph Henrich and Mrs. Albert Buch.
Interment was in the cemetery at Pomeroy.
