Elmer was the son of Charles and Bessie (Mills) Seiple. He was married to Helen Farley Seiple and they had one daughter Nancy.

Elmer was a slow, easy going guy and was liked by everyone. He had a great sense of humor. Not sure why but he was called "Pickles" by many family members.

Rev. Charles Wonnenberg officiated at the service.
