Grandpa farmed all his life and sent his six children to college! I loved to visit Grandpa Smith and Grandma on their farm. It was my favorite place on earth. Grandpa had cows and pigs, also lots of chickens. He was Primitive Baptist and kept the old El Bethel Church Book which was started in 1847. It has the names of all the members down thru the years and I wish I could find a place to put this info online as it might help someone with their genealogy work. It should be posted at the MS Family site soon as a man in SC said he would scan it online. Grandpa Tom Smith also led the singing at church. He had 13 grandchildren. Alice
