Betty was just 7 months old when she died; she probably was rolling over, crawling, starting to sit on her own and chewing everything she could get her hands on. She died on Monday, January 3, 1920 and was buried on January 5, 1920. The St. Paul's Episcopal Church death record stated "convulsions" as cause of death.

The official PA death certificate spells her name as Bettie. It listed "Convulsions" as cause of death with "irritation from teething" as contributory. She was treated the day before she died and the day she died the doctor saw her alive. 7 months, 27 days.

Interestingly, the US Census for 1920 lists Betty in her family. It was enumerated in January, 1920. There is not a day listed on the page with her family although the pages before and after her page say January 6th, the day after her burial.
